I have been told its from around 1920 , bamboo 5-6 sided , kingfisher is the name on the handle, and it has a tin or aluminum tube case,

It would help to know if it is a fly rod, probably if it is bamboo, and how long it is.

Prices I am seeing range from about $100 to over &500 but that depends on make, condition, scarcity etc…

It does sound like a flyrod because of the case and the bamboo factor. Some go well above the $500 mark, I’ve seen them up to $1,200. Try going to BASSMASTER.COM and email a photo to What’s it worth? I see answers to this same question all the time.
